If you and your spouse still have disagreements, a mediation service is included in this program to offer proposals for your consideration and avoid costly litigation. This is also a service for couples who want to civilly and quietly dissolve their marraige. 

I don't represent either spouse, so I'm not taking sides.     Straightforward cases can become complicated.   Even when it looks simple, it's not, because there's so much required by the court system that unless you know exactly how to do this, many people just give up.   

Some couples, unfortunately, "like to fight".  The average retainer fee in California -- if each of you want to fight it out with your own lawyer -- is $3000 to $5000 for each spouse. Your fees always increase and your routines are interrupted as both of you keep going back to court.  The average number of court appearances in divorce fights is 12. In amicable divorces: 0.

If you want to civilly dissolve your marriage together, or at least mediate differences, a fee of $2000 covers both of you together. I do all the work: your required Marital Settlement Agreement, QDRO and joinder actions, processing the dissolution the way you both want it dissolved. I can answer legal questions, offer options, and guide you through the process.
